Hamish and Lachlan Davidson have had the wonderful fortune of receiving great support from their peers in the music industry over the years. Their list of awards and accolades is extensive, but perhaps the most prestigious of these decorations might be the 5 Australian Country Music Awards they received between 2009 & 2018. They hold the record in the instrumental category (equal to the Flying Emus' record set in 1991). There are only a handful of active artists who possess more of these awards than the Davidson Brothers. |

The Davidson Brothers established the Australian Bluegrass Scholarship in 2011 with the vision of encouraging musicians and singers who demonstrate talent, dedication and leadership in the field of bluegrass music. There are many talented artists in Australia who possess rare musical gifts, where a small nudge in the right direction may help pave the way toward their musical dreams. The first six recipients were Pepita Emmerichs, Thomas Kendall, Jeri Foreman, Paddy Montgomery, Daniel Watkins and George Jackson. |
